ZOIS's Ash Web-Server

Welcome to the "Ash" web-server web-site. This site provides a micro-site server for family, friends and the wider community at large. Although the intention is that these sites would be served under their own proper domain names, ash.zois.co.uk is named after the tree, an example of ZOIS's external generic computer naming policy.

ZOIS itself is a small consultancy specializing in large UNIX and Java based On-Line Transaction Processing systems. We would encourage you to read the papers on the ZOIS public site. They give more detailed information on what we do. ZOIS Limited is registered in England, Number 2197775. Although ZOIS is based in Cockermouth, the registered office is 22-26 Nottingham Road, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 8AA.

Cockermouth Floods

Cockermouth, where ZOIS is based has been subjected to unprecidented weather which has lead to floods of biblical proportions, or that's how it feels. We here in Stag House are safe on a hill, but the rest of town has faired less well. John Sullivan has been out and about with a camera.
